The Wedding Party (...and what a party!)

A bit about the folks standing with us:

Kathy:
Angela Pera, Matron of Honor
Angela is not only a great sister, she is a great friend. She is a constant source of strength and love that I cherish. Her generosity is unlike any other. I love her dearly, and I am honored to have her stand by my side -- not only on my wedding day, but for my entire life. Angela is married to Angelo Pera.

Joleen Sybrandy, Bride's Maid
Joleen and I have shared some of the most exhilarating -- and some of the most trying -- times. She is a great friend, one with whom I will laugh, learn and grow for the rest of our lives. Joleen is engaged to marry Eric Goudat (Goodat? Gudatt? Goudaatt? Is there an umlaut in there somewhere?).

Sarah Jones, Bride's Maid
Sarah and I bonked heads in 9th Grade Science and have been great friends ever since. I remember the times we went to Seattle together, and laughing until it hurt. Sarah is recently married (to Mike Jones) and I am so honored to have her in the wedding.

Joy Sanders, Bride's Maid
Joy has been a wonderful friend since our we met in our freshman year of college. I had the privilege to be in her wedding to Chris. Joy's thoughtful and dedicated friendship is inspiring and treasured. I will always refer to her as 'Kucha' because of that long bonding weekend we shared. She spends her time travelling Europe with her Pro-Basketball-Playing husband, Chris.


Dave:
Jonathan McGuire, Best Man--
Jon, growing up, we were always together, and I still consider you my best friend. Without you, I wouldn't be the man I am today. And without me, you wouldn't have that graphite stuck in your palm. You're welcome. [Jon is married to the former Melissa Fenstermacker]

Daniel McGuire, Awesome Man--
Dan: you have a kid [nuts!]. The crushing weight of that responsibility is probably why you call me so often just to discuss Mitt Romney's hairdo. But I will always take your call, because you are a rad brother and I love you. [Dan is married to the former Laneysa Bell, and father to Delaney Brown]

Michael McGuire, Super Man--
Mike, you're better than Superman... number 1: no tights (except on Thursday nights and special occasions). Number 2: you're raising a family and saving lives as a nurse. Way to go, American Hero, I'm proud to call you my oldest brother. [Mike is married to the former Karry Wagoner, and father to Harper Ann]

Paul Root, Candy Man--
Paul! two words: staring contest. If I hadn't met you I probably wouldn't have moved to California, entered the entertainment industry and met the girl of my dreams... and the whole time, you were on the other end of the phone, breathing heavily.
